BOC Friday Night DJ Set – 2/27/09
In case you missed it or want to re-live the night, here are two hours of my set at the BOC last night, recorded from 11 PM – 1 AM. It’s a mix of banging Electro beats with a sprinkling of Hip-Hop.

Alanis Morissette vs. The Black Eyed Peas
I am a huge Alanis Morissette fan, but it is rare to have an opportunity to remix or mash her songs up because she never releases acapellas or instrumentals. When she parodied The Black Eyed Peas in 2007, I was inspired to make this mash up combining the two versions. It was released as a Bootie exclusive on their April 2007 Top 10 list.

“When Doves Cry” Electro Remix
Prince vs. Otto Von Schirach
Otto Von Schirach did a dirty electro cover of Prince’s “When Doves Cry” called “Sliced Doves On Codeine.” Otto’s mix is cool but his vocals on the track are a little too scary for me, so I mashed up Otto’s beat and Prince’s original version into this.

A clever video of my Madonna/Lady GaGa mash up that incorporates the art of Keith Haring, which I love. The video was made by Cr@zy4Mad*nna.
